An incident requiring forensic response procedures can take many forms within a corporation. Common incidents stem from unauthorized data access, inappropriate system usage, malicious infections, data theft and general security breaches. Critical to handling these situations is having an incident response team that can quickly identify the problem and preserve all evidence for future investigations and litigation. BlackStone utilizes a variety of forensic tools and techniques to identify and preserve all potentially discoverable data. With the growing number of security breaches involving the release of personal billing information, the FTC has become increasingly strict with their requirements.
