Daniel J. Pinna named VP of Business Development


Silicon Valley, CA – January 11, 2009 –   BlackStone Discovery is proud to announce the promotion of Daniel J. Pinna to Vice President of Business Development. Mr. Pinna has established himself as an industry leader in the marketing of electronic discovery solutions to law firms in the Silicon Valley. Mr. Pinna’s contributions over the past three years have enabled BlackStone Discovery to become the premier partner for e-discovery and document production services in Northern California. As Vice President of Business Development, Mr. Pinna will lead all sales and marketing efforts and manage the delivery of the electronic data discovery (“EDD”) solutions and other client related services.

As the Sales Manager responsible for client development and revenue generation at BlackStone Discovery, Mr. Pinna expanded the role of project management at BlackStone Discovery. Mr. Pinna developed two major components of BlackStone Discovery’s Rapid Response Methodology™ (“RRM”), the “Client Needs Analysis” and the “Project Case Design”. In addition to his leadership in the sales and marketing groups Mr. Pinna has contributed to company wide operating “best practices”, key employee recruiting and development, and overall company profitability. 

Prior to joining BlackStone Discovery in 2006, Mr. Pinna held executive positions in the technology and building industries. Mr. Pinna is a graduate of the Santa Clara University and Bellarmine College Preparatory of San Jose.
